As Senior Account manager, you will play a core role delivering our Performance with Integrity ambition across OMD's clients. You will be at the center of creating market leading ideas for our clients. You will be equally competent in digital and traditional media channel. You will challenge and develop your direct reports to enable them to be the best they can be.
It's an offline role for the client, but the benefit of being at OMD is that there is so much focus and training in the digital, data and tech space, that there is ample opportunity to continue to develop and grow in that space with different agency initiatives you can get involved in, it's actually the best of both worlds! Qantas might get us to do more digital in the future, we don't now - it's just that at this point in time, it's not a client requirement.
- Originate and deliver Communication Ideas and Plans using ‘'OMD Design”
- Take responsibility for managing comms implementation and make recommendation to clients on in-depth customer focused rationale
- Respond to global /regional reporting requests on international clients
- Delivery and upkeep of all relevant reporting systems and templates
- Deliver best in class client service that builds business and strong client relationships
- In depth understanding of commercial arrangement with all clients
- Collaborate with and share information with creative agency partners for optimal client outcomes
- Provide budget figures on request for respective clients
- Delivery of financial process month to month and optimize where needed
- Support the account query process and provide responses with supporting documentation
- Manage and develop your direct reports skill set so they feel challenged, motivated and engaged
- Ensure you and your team live by the OMD Values
- High performer who excels in client service, media planning and implementation
- Ability to build strong recommendations based on the ability to gather insights from key media tools and systems
- The ability to step outside of executional work to uncover issues and adopt strategies to address these
- You have deep expertise with planning, including tools and strategy
- Provide accurate and thorough management of the media plan and budget
- You have a passion for understanding and delivering on client business goals
- Someone who can build strong client relationships and trust quickly
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders including clients, SBU's and external agencies.
- Experience in managing direct reports, with a focus on their development.
- A proactive thinker who is always exploring new ways of doing things whilst respecting proven processes
