Access Group Australia have the nation's largest privately-owned fleet of access equipment.  Our core business facilitates the hiring, selling, servicing and transporting of elevated work platforms including scissors, boom lifts, telehandlers and forklifts to the Construction, Material Handling and Mining sectors.

Opportunity exists for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Customer Invoicing Specialist to join our finance team. The Senior Customer Invoicing Specialist will be responsible for managing the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in billing, and maintaining excellent communication with our customers.

Your day to day responsibilities will include;

  • Oversee the end-to-end invoicing process, including generating invoices, verifying billing information, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Communicate with customers to address billing inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and provide clarification on invoicing matters.
  • Assist in Supplier Invoice Processing, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Keep detailed records of invoicing activities and generate reports to track billing metrics such as revenue, outstanding invoices, and payment trends.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline Customer and Supplier invoicing processes and improve efficiency.

The successful candidate will be an individual who will honour our core values of People, Safety, Respect, Communication and Continuous Improvement - in addition to this they will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar accounts processing role, preferably in an environment dealing with multiple business entities or branches.
  • Strong understanding of invoicing processes, accounting principles, and billing software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Resilience and maturity with the ability to work within a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
