About the role

We have an opportunity for a Senior Adjudicator to be part of our Firearms Registry, Police Prosecutions & Licensing Enforcement Command team. The Senior Adjudicator is responsible for conducting reviews of adjudication decisions relating to the suitability of applications to hold or continue to hold a firearms or weapons license, permit or approval. The role is also responsible for providing high level advice and guidance to other police business units and stakeholders to raise awareness and understanding of firearms licensing and compliance obligations. This position not only demands a keen eye for detail but also offers the chance to make a significant impact on public safety and community wellbeing. 

Salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis as this is a part-time position - 42 hours per fortnight.
