The Opportunity
The Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Research Centre (ANZIC-RC) is a major clinical research methods centre for Intensive Care in Australia and New Zealand based in the Monash School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine at the Alfred Hospital campus. The centre supports the design and conduct of clinical research trials in a variety of patient related topics.
The role reports to the ANZIC-RC Research Manager. This position provides administrative and project support across a diverse range of tasks but primarily supports the Research and Business Managers to ensure the timely delivery of project deliverables.
The Senior Administrative Officer operates with excellence in process and judgement to provide sound and timely advice and support to clients, staff and other stakeholders.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for:
Plan, implement and manage a range of complex administrative tasks including: coordination of grant applications; updating researcher profiles and publication metrics
Deliver high-level and effective service to clients, including prompt issue resolution and adherence to privacy, confidentiality and compliance
Actively participate in, develop and implement continuous improvement activities relating to practices/protocols, quality assurance standards and customer service excellence
If you have excellent administration and organisational skills and the ability to work as an effective member of a team, you are encouraged to apply. It would also be desirable if you have previous experience assisting with the preparation and coordination of grant applications and working with NHMRC grant management solution, Sapphire.
