Our client currently have multiple vacancies to join their People Services department in the position of Senior Adviser, Recruitment Services. The Senior Adviser, Recruitment Services provides coordination to enable end-to-end solutions for university stakeholders focused on recruitment, attraction, selection and onboarding. This position supports the Recruitment Services team, providing high quality coordination and support for various employment types across all areas of the University. This position contributes to the continuous improvement and application of recruitment best practice by supporting the delivery of recruitment projects and initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing support and advice on the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, processing all steps within the team, with particular focus on fixed term, continuing, casual and direct appointments, Honorary and affiliates
- Efficient and accurate processing of recruitment support activity across multiple areas including sourcing, advertising, shortlisting, interview scheduling/logistics, reference checking, generating employment contracts and providing candidate outcome notifications
- Exploring global mobility options / issues and escalating as required
- Seeking feedback from customers regarding their satisfaction and perspective with products or services received, responding with openness and transparency and seeking to identify ways to better service the customer
- Building new and productive relationships with a diverse range of potential candidates, stakeholders or key individuals, both inside and outside the University
- Sharing practical, accessible solutions and suggestions for improvements and supporting the implementation
- Generating new ideas and sharing with others in the work area to improve process and practice
- Striving for excellence and consulting regularly with clients to clarify who requires the information, the purpose for which it is required, criteria for success and where and when advice and recommendation is required
- Communicate with confidence using examples and the most appropriate influencing technique for a given situation to increase understanding and support
- A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in recruitment
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in human resources or a related field
