About the role
Local Land Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Agricultural Advisor to:
Support customers in relation to drought planning, preparedness, response and recovery in conjunction with the Drought and Innovation Hubs in NSW
Develop and deliver agricultural drought preparedness programs and advisory services
Support regional agricultural producers to improve productivity whilst sustaining and managing our landscapes
Contributing to the development and implementation of Local Land Services and region strategic plans, and Local Plans.

About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
Knowledge of current agriculture and drought preparedness best practices and the ability to maintain a working understanding of regulatory responsibilities
High quality project management and advisory skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively foster stakeholder and customer relationships
Prioritisation and multitasking skills to effectively manage a high workload environment
Current valid NSW Driver License and the ability and willingness to travel
