About the opportunity
This is a destination role for a retail eCommerce analyst who wants to help the whole industry move forward, and to help shape the future eCommerce landscape in Australia.
Reporting to and learning from a thought leader in the eCommerce space who has over 17 years experience in the management, design and delivery of customised data driven solutions, this is an opportunity to expand your knowledge, grow your career and create insights that add value to Australia Post and our business customers.
What you’ll deliver with us
First and foremost you will be charged with crunching the data and creating analysis that is part of our Inside Australian Online Shopping publications. Working alongside the manager who has developed our online shopping industry papers since their inception in 2016. You will be looking at retail data and drawing insights, building yourself as a true thought leader and expert in this space.
Your involvement in our industry publications will be paramount to the role, you will also be invited to talk and present at events.
You’ll also
- Work to find out what insights are valuable to our stakeholders and sourcing the information appropriately to deliver that report.
- Work on the design, build and maintenance of a healthy data ecosystem within eCommerce
- Interpret insights and solve queries with data, presenting to stakeholders in a clear and compelling way.
- Forecasting industry trends in the next 3-5 years and how that will translate into parcel volumes.
About you
You will be an analyst with a high degree of experience in providing insights about eCommerce and retail trends.
You’ll also
- Have significant technical competencies, relating to data analysis, visualization and management.
- Be confident in speaking to stakeholders externally and internally about your conclusions that are drawn from the data.
- Able to deliver on a long-term projection and look to the future.
