The Role
As a Senior Analyst, you will provide support to core functional teams in Product Operational Accounting (POA) for activities and requirements relating to in-house and commercial based administration systems used in the team. A large part of your role will also involve work around change activities as driven by the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- System related work (maintenance and change activities) to facilitate business requirements and support control around wider team key functions and deliverables
- Work closely with business stakeholders, Technology and/or relevant Project/Change teams on management of workflows to ensure:
- appropriate management and prioritisation of pipeline items
- appropriate development and delivery of business requirements
- appropriate documentation of business requirements
- successful delivery/implementation of any relevant change activities
- alignment with POA objectives
- Develop, test, and implement relevant business requirements
- Proactively contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of relevant system processes
- Provide technical support and training for POA team around system functionalities and changes where applicable
To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:
- Tertiary qualification and demonstrated experience in superannuation, investments, or financial services
- Exposure to business application development/analysis (PControl highly regarded)
- Experience working in projects/change activities with solid understanding of business concepts and processes
- Ability to identify, develop and implement solutions to meet the needs of the business
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently or collaboratively
- Strong communication, stakeholder relationship and time management skills
- Logical proactive curious mind with ability to think outside the box
- Strong risk and control mindset with high attention to detail
