What We Want
We are currently seeking a Senior Architect to join our dynamic practice. As a Senior Architect you will be involved in leading and managing the process of architecture projects, working closely with the Executive Team on concept design and contract administration.
The key accountabilities are:
- Ensuring high quality project documentation, including drawings, schedules and specifications are suitable for tendering and project work
- Develop, understand, and interpret design concepts for clients and lead the team into understanding the PBD vision for project delivery
- Managing client briefs and establishing design concepts
- Prepare high quality, professional and well-structured design and project management reports
- Attend external meetings for client and stakeholders’ briefings, project coordination and client and stakeholders’ presentations, including meetings with stakeholder planning and design groups
- Providing leadership to graduates and ensuring effective supervision.
- Contribute to developing new business via existing clients and establish new clients
Who You Are
An experienced, design focused architect with a passion for detail, looking to step up in their career and join an expanding practice with opportunity for career growth.
The ideal candidate will bring the following skills to this role:
- 5 years or more of local architectural experience
- Registered Architect in NSW [or seeking registration]
- Green Building Council of Australia – Accreditation
- Strong knowledge of the methods and techniques of CAD design including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and PhotoShop
- Demonstrated experience in leading a small team
- Advanced knowledge of all applicable codes and regulatory agency guidelines
- Capable of delivering excellence in design, presentations and projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret and carry out complex oral and written instructions of drawings, specifications and statutory codes / regulations
