Job description

Audiologist – Darwin

Audiologist opportunity – 9 days per fortnight
Work with a small but passionate team to deliver 'life-altering' services
Attractive salary up to $112,000 (based on experience) plus 15.4% superannuation

If you are looking for career growth, this role will be your step up to a Senior Audiologist position.

In this role you will work from our Darwin Hearing Centres specialising in Adult and Paediatric Specialist work, to support the team and deliver an exceptional service to our clients.

In this role you will be actively involved in a wide range of activities including:

Clinical Casework

Maintain a high level of clinical skills through regular clinical casework
Assess the auditory problems of routine and complex clients, providing appropriate device fitting, rehabilitation, counselling and reports to referral sources
Be an expert in the area of products, paediatrics and adult specialist case work and a role model for sales

Clinical Development and Quality

Monitor and evaluate the quality and consistency of clinical services and assist Manager to action areas which are not best practice
Undertake one to one coaching of clinicians and file reviews to improve both clinical capability and business outcomes; including compliance to HSP contract
Active involvement in the induction and development of clinicians
Lead Hearing Centre clinical meetings
Assist with the implementation and acceptance of new clinical practices and products

Business Management

Assist the Centre to achieve targets and KPIs across all client groups
Under the Manager’s direction, assist with overseeing the day to day operation of the Centre and support the team in the provision of timely and quality services to clients
Be proactive in informing the Manager of issues and concerns

Stakeholder Engagement

Participate in promotional activities as required to engender a positive image of Hearing Australia in the community and referral sources.

The ideal candidate will hold

a Tertiary Qualification in Audiology,
QP number,
current driver licence and ability to travel
enjoy community liaison with a wide and diverse client base
and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will have had a min of 2-3 years’ experience in Rehabilitation setting.

Your clinical abilities will enable you to undertake the full range of professional services.
