The Role and our BranchWe encourage all applicants with diverse professional experiences to apply.Broome Residential College is seeking a Female Senior Boarding Supervisor to join their friendly team.The Senior Boarding Supervisor provides leadership and advice to supervisors and assists staff to support and reinforce appropriate values and behaviours of students. They ensure that supervisors are fully aware of their responsibilities and carry these out in accordance with Departmental policies, procedures and guidelines. They will undertake team building and coordination of supervisors, organise regular staff meetings and coordinate planning by supervisors. The successful applicant will ensure that all supervisors have the skills required to carry out their responsibilities and ensure that supervisors’ training needs are met.The successful applicant will deputise in the absence of the College Manager, including the supervision of all college staff and being on call as required. This position will assist the College Manager to develop effective policies and guidelines relating to student management and well as assist the monitoring and management of staff leave entitlements to ensure accrued leave is cleared in accordance with relevant awards, agreements and Department policy.For this position, the person's gender is a genuine occupational qualification (Equal Opportunity Act 1984).
