About the Role
We are currently seeking to engage a Senior Business Analyst ICT Digital on a permanent/ ongoing basis for our Payroll Taxes digital squad. The Payroll Taxes digital squad supports multiple IT applications that enable Revenue NSW to engage with NSW businesses for collection and management of payroll taxes. In this role you will be expected to identify, analyse and document business processes, systems, and other functional requirements to support efficient and early delivery of digital products.
Work within a Digital, software Agile, enterprise scale environment.
In this role you will work using suitable agile methodologies to:
- Analyse and translate business processes into meaningful insights from a broad range of datasets to enhance product performance
- Investigate problems, analyse options, and provide recommendations for new and existing services
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders and users to understand and analyse solutions to business problems and facilitate scoping of business priorities
- Review and propose business improvements and contribute to the development, facilitation, coordination and communication of initiatives and strategies to ensure organisational consistency and adoption of best agile practices
- Ensure the health of product backlog by working to refine, define and deconstruction stories
- Communicate acceptance criteria, formally and informally, to ensure development and testing teams has a clear understanding of shared vision for the story
- Work with stakeholders, architects, and project leaders to provide relevant business solutions ensuring proper translation of business requirements to IT solution requirements.
- Provide support to Developers and System Testers
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis and supporting multiple projects in an agile environment
- Experienced in using Jira, Confluence and
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Ability to identify and create data in various formats
- Demonstrable ability to work to deadlines and balance competing needs
