Our government client is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, refining, documenting and socializing requirements for identified required capabilities in line with the Digital Solutions Division Delivery Frameworks and processes.
About the role:
- Working with the Project Manager, define the business analysis approach and requirements management processes that are most appropriate for the assigned projects/programs.
- Undertake analysis and modelling of current and future state clinical and business processes and data flows, driven through engagement with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
- Preparation of requirement models and detailed business requirement specifications
- Manage requirements traceability through to use cases and test planning activities in conjunction with the nominated Test Lead.
About you:
- Proven experience in business process and requirements analysis in a large and complex/diverse service industry organisation. This includes strong knowledge and practical experience in working in the IT or Enterprise Service Management domain.
- Demonstrated technical writing skills and ability to create required project management artefacts using the Microsoft office suite specifically Word, Visio, Excel and PowePoint.
- Proven engagement, collaboration and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to build, maintain and use relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Proven strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and presentation and facilitation skills, including demonstrated experience presenting to a wide range of groups with varying levels of technical expertise.
Location and Contract Term
This role is being offered to those in Canberra, ACT. Initial contract for 6 months and high chance to be extended.
Security Requirements
Our Government Client require applicants have the full working rights andcandidate will be required to maintain a clearance at this level.
Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment screening checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification and any other client requested checks.
