About the Role
In this role you’ll be contributing to our team by providing financial and accounting support to our Generation & Development stakeholders (based at our gas & renewables plants). Your exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills will aid you in successfully partnering with the business and providing financial advice.
Your day-to-day
-Act as a business partner in providing expert financial advice to senior managers and site managers in day to day financial activities
-You’ll be guiding your stakeholders’ decision making by providing insights from your effective monthly management/financial reporting and variance analysis
-Ensuring compliance is met by monitoring and improving financial controls by utilising technical accounting applications
Is this you?
-Relevant experience as an Accountant/Analyst within a large, complex and geographically distributed organisation.
-Extensive budget/forecast experience – including preparing budgets and performing monthly variance analysis
-SAP accounting system experience is desirable
-Demonstrated and exceptional stakeholder engagement and management experience.
