We currently have an opportunity to join our Project Team. As a Senior Business Analyst on the Simplification and Automation Program, you will provide guidance, advice and support to people charged with delivering process improvement and automation solutions across the entire organisation. To succeed in this role you should have a high attention to detail, an analytical and structured way of thinking, with advanced communication skills (written and verbal), the ability to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users, and challenge the status quo.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Using methodologies, as appropriate for each initiative, execute improvement activities that deliver clear measurable benefits within the business
• Work within Beyond Bank's Project Management framework
• Develop process diagrams - current and future state
• Evaluate business processes, in consultation with key business and technical SME's, to identify pain points and improvement opportunities; develop and implement solutions
• Facilitate meetings and workshops to present and share ideas; gather and document business requirements; and model business operations
• Create benefits models to prove the activities have made a tangible strategic improvement
• Review and analyse specifications, business cases, ideas, and proposals for potential improvement initiatives
• Support the implementation and hand-over to BAU
• Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and development of optimisation strategies
• Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
• Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of initiatives

Desired Skills and Experience

To be successful, you will need:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in business analysis is essential
• Strong understanding of banking and finance operations
• Demonstrated experience in business analysis and/or business process improvement on ICT (Information & Communication Technology) projects
• Exceptional data analysis and conceptual thinking skills, demonstrating the ability to gather, synthesize and analyse data, and draw logical conclusions
• Excellent documentation, reporting and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently, in a dynamic environment, with minimal supervision, as well as working collaboratively as part of a geographically distributed, cross functional team
