We are seeking a Senior Case Managerto come on board and join our expanding Injury Management team!
About You:
You are passionate about all things Workers Compensation! You are able to work with the parameters guided by clients and offer a balanced and strategic approach to your work. You are organised, structured in your working and understand the importance of this as well as providing the highest quality of customer service to clients.
The role of the Senior Case Manager will be working with 1 self insurer in the application of case management in NSW. However you will be linked with an extended team that works with a range of different clients such as Aged Care, Retail, Construction and Pharmaceuticals.
We are flexible with working hours but seeking full time availability.
More about you:
- Minimum 5 years case management experience (mandatory);
- Experience working within self-insurance (highly regarded);
- Understand the day to day requirements of application of benefits and Claims Management including calculating PIAWE, drafting disputes, applying the reasonable and necessary test to medical treatment and legal proceedings;
- A current Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain);
- Excellent time management skills;
- Independent working with ability to fit into multiple different work scenarios;
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal;
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking & problem solving;
- A sense of urgency in day to day activities;
- Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach.
- Supporting people to recover and return to work and pre-injury activities;
- Providing quality case management across various jurisdictions including WC, Life Insurance and private industry;
- Liaising with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
- Combination of work from home and onsite work as requested;
