AddressDue to a number of acquisitions the company has experienced growth and are currently underway with a large migration program moving new and current services to their cloud platform. The role will be responsible for assessing the security and readiness of the services before moving to the cloud platform.
This role will ideally suit a candidate who has a technical Cloud Security background and is now keen to move in to a more advisor / SME role. Ideally the selected candidates will have been hands on across Cloud Security and for example understand configurations in AWS and can assess API's. Preferred platform will be AWS however as long as the individual has solid Cloud Security platform experience the client will consider other platforms. A dual platform of AWS and GCP runs at this organisation so if you are looking to build out your GCP experience this will be possible.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Validation and Verification: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and check services before migration to the new cloud platform, ensuring adherence to rigorous security standards.
- Review cloud workloads to ensure they meet control objectives
- Identify recommendations and follow up with the workload teams to ensure workload reviews are completed
- Threat analysis
Requirements:
- Proven background in a hands on Cloud Security with comprehensive knowledge of AWS or GCP preferred however Azure also considered.
- Understanding around Cloud Security design
- Demonstrated experience with Cloud Security assessments and reviews
- Solid security background with specific Cloud Security expertise
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CCSK
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- A mindset for staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in Cloud Security.
