About this Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Commercial Accountant to join our Export division on a 12 month contract. Reporting to the General Manager of Export in Australia and functionally to the Lactalis International CFO in France, the role of Senior Commercial Accountant will partner the Management team and provide accounting support to the entire Export function.
This role will be a crucial link between the Export division, Australian Corporate Finance team including AR, AP, Tax and Treasury, as well as cross functional teams including Supply Chain and Operations.
Key Responsibilities,
- Month end accounting close
- Financial reporting
- Management of inventory risk and AR
- Review of Balance Sheet reconciliations and timely resolution of variances
- Effective management of trade spend (promotions & discounts)
Key Requirements,
- 5+ years’ experience in FMCG/manufacturing or similar industry
- Bachelor’s qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA/CA/CIMA qualification
- Exposure to ERP Systems – SAP BI/BW preferable
- Advanced Excel & MS Office
The successful applicant will have strong communication skills, sound analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail. In addition, the candidate will be commercially minded, able to prioritise and meet tight deadlines and work with a range of stakeholders.
