The Senior Commercial Analyst will develop and assess pricing strategies and initiatives for a portfolio of OWS (Optus Wholesale & Satellite) customer accounts, as well as strategic projects and product development across the entire product portfolio of fixed and mobile. You will proactively engage with Senior Management, Sales & Marketing as well as the customer to develop pricing strategies & structures that meet customer requirements while delivering against OWS financial & non-financial targets for these customer portfolios driving balanced, profitable growth!
To provide commercial input into the development of pricing strategies, initiatives and product launch propositions to be presented to OWS Senior Management, you will need to develop an understanding of customer strategy, requirements, market positioning and their business model, as well as their strategic fit within OWS and performance against targets.
What makes you perfect for the role?
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance/Engineering/Commerce;
- Proven experience to date in a commercial focussed Analyst role with strong experience in business case development, financial modelling and evaluation;
- Strong analytical ability and investigative skills, plus ability to independently run multiple projects;
- Telco industry experience preferred, but not 100% essential;
- Ability to develop effective relationships and contacts throughout the organisation;
- P&L / budget management skills experience, together with advanced stakeholder management skills at all levels of a business;
- Strong active listening and interpretative skills, adaptive to change, able to show initiative to improve processes; &
- Sound knowledge of all Microsoft applications and advanced Excel skills.
