Company: Is ASX listed, with many years of sustainable and profitable operation. Showing 20% growth in size and 30% growth in profit on already market leading metrics.
This growth has led to a portfolio size, sufficient to justify this newly structured Compliance team to ensure the company’s future growth is built on a sustainable platform.
Opportunity: Support the Senior Manager, to build and embed a scalable compliance function that ensures regulatory compliance and compliance with company policies and provides visibility of this, through reporting.
Role: Based from the Melbourne Head Office. This role reports to the Senior Manager – Compliance and will monitor the risks and controls in the Australian automotive lending businesses, to report on compliance and suitability of controls.
As with all growth businesses, in the evolving legislative environment. Someone needs to be confirming that business operations met and comply with the company’s own policies and procedures as well as ensuring that control measures are performing to ensure the company meets the legal and operational obligations.
This role will also be a point of contact for business units as they encounter compliance issues on a day to day basis.
Finally, you will need to summarise findings and recommend corrective actions, where change opportunities are identified.
Requirements: We will be looking to speak to candidates showing the following experience:
1.Strong understanding operational processors in Automotive finance or personal lending
2.Understanding of the regulatory landscape facing consumer finance
3.Past experience reviewing portfolios of loans for operational compliance
4.Strong communication, to raise the profile of compliance in the business unit
