Main responsibilities
Installation, configuration and upgrade of marketing automation software
Conduct requirement gathering, discovery sessions with business and technology stakeholders for current and future state analysis. This includes understanding existing processes and challenges and interpreting the findings to provide documented best practise recommendations to enable more effective business outcomes.
Configuration and development of best practice marketing campaigns using marketing automation software to target, segment, present exceptional integrated omni channel customer experiences
Administration, configuration and development of marketing automation platforms and supporting processes
Design, Develop and implement integration between marketing automation tools and various communication channels, such as Email, SMS, Mobile App, Social etc.
Customisation of marketing solutions, including design and development of integration layers using programming languages such as: Java, Python, JavaScript, shell/batch script etc.
Development and configuration of data structures and evaluation processes
Design and develop automated test and learn and response tracking processes
Diagnose, troubleshoot and remediate technical IT issues with marketing automation environments
Production IT infrastructure support, and break fix remediation and reporting processes
Develop and prepare functional specification, solution design, implementation, system maintenance and end user training documentation
Deliver world class enablement and training to equip clients with required skills to build internal capabilities through delivery of end user training programs
Established as a trusted advisor to clients across the business. This includes technically as well as providing recommendations based on your relationships and deep knowledge of marketing automation and their business.
Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in the installation, configuration and upgrade of marketing automation software
Minimum 5 years' experience in the development of campaigns using marketing automation software
Comfortable working with data integration platforms and commercial databases and language(s)
Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
Proven record of working in results driven environments
Excellent self-management, motivation and organisation skills
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
Key Technical Capabilities:
Thorough technical understanding of marketing automation platforms
Understanding of Database processing and scripting languages: SQL, JavaScript, HTML, XML
