Senior Consultant - Industrial Relations

 

-Business partnering to providing support and expertise to Origin Energy 
-Multi-faceted role within Origin's skilled Industrial Relations team 
-Can be based at any of our CBD sites - Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide or Brisbane

THE ROLE

A Unique opportunity exists to join our People & Culture team, as a Senior Consultant – Industrial Relations. In this role you will be 

business partnering to providing support and expertise to Origin Energy stakeholders. 

Your responsibilities will include:

-Assisting with the management of a large portfolio of enterprise agreements, primarily supporting bargaining and agreement implementation.
-Providing advice and coaching to the business regarding Origin’s complex industrial relations framework.
-Working on key industrial relations strategy and compliance initiatives, and other significant projects.
 

IS THIS YOU?

You’ll need to be diligent, detail-oriented, and confident communicating cross-functionally. You will be analytically minded, and solution focused with the ability to mediate between different views and recognise conflict between ideas as an opportunity to find the right solution.
You will have an appropriate bachelor’s degree qualification in either law, industrial relations, or a related discipline.

You will also be able to demonstrate:

-A minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial relations roles.
-Prior experience working in complex industrial environments.
-Prior experience supporting enterprise bargaining.
-A good understanding of the Australian employment law framework.
-Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
