The Role
The objective of the role is to be an effective advocate of Asset Management’s investment capabilities in the retail, workplace super, and institutional channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elevating Asset Management's investment voice and profile in the marketplace through the creation of investment insights and thought leadership content
- Delivering investment insights through multiple communication channels including online and face-to-face presentations with financial advisers, policy committees and institutional clients
- Maintaining effective working relationships with various teams across the business including portfolio managers, workplace super and distribution teams
- Preparing regular commentaries for our portfolios
- Answering investment questions posed by financial advisers, Business Development Managers, and Relationship Managers
- Signing off investment communications
To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:
- Must have RG146 qualification
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- Tertiary qualified in relevant field
- Deep understanding of asset management investment processes and client communication expectations
- Ability to operate effectively in a large complex environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong relationship building/interpersonal skills
- The role is suitable for a professional with experience in investment sales, asset consulting or portfolio management who is motivated to take on an investment-focused, client-facing role
