The Client
My client is a leading financial services group in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. They boast a high performance culture, first class career progression, friendly and motivated staff and are seen by many as an employer of choice.
Due to recent expansion, they are looking to grow their Regulatory Change team. As an organisation who continue to expand, there will be opportunities to move into team leading and managerial roles in the future.
The Role
- Assists with the assessment of regulatory change and determine the impact on local operations and the appropriate compliance approach.
- Advise business partners, including senior management, on regulatory change and applicable laws, regulations, rules and standards.
- Develop Regulatory Change programs and act as a contact point for Compliance inquiries from partners.
- Establish written guidance on the appropriate application of Regulatory Changes and laws, regulations, rules and standards.
- Identify situations which may pose significant risk and guide management in developing policies and/or procedures that minimize such risk.
- Extensive experience in compliance or risk management.
- Demonstrated experience in Regulatory Change related matters within a complex environment.
- Knowledge of risk management with an in-depth knowledge of regulations and local laws.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Experience in stakeholder management and a proven ability to influence stakeholders.
