About the role:
The Senior Contracts Coordinator will play a pivotal role, ensuring that GMCT's assets, facilities and infrastructure are maintained effectively and efficiently to support organisational objectives. Contract and risk management, customer satisfaction and employee experience will all be of critical importance in the successful performance of the role.
The Senior Contracts Coordinator requires excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, good problem-solving ability, and a high-level understanding of contract management, governance structures and related legislation.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Ensure that all systems, processes, and contracts comply with GMCT policies and other relevant legislative requirements.
- Monitor performance, undertake external reviews, benchmarking, and statistical analysis to continuously improve contracted services.
- Proactive manage service contracts, ensuring all GMCT key performance indicators are met, including maintenance, tree management, and occupational health and safety.
- Maintain company assets and facilities in a fit for purpose manner, such that business continuity is maintained in a cost effective and consistent manner.
- Maintain flexibility in contracts for ad-hoc work orders and special assignments to enable Operations to achieve and/or improve its service provision objectives.
- Provide oversight of budgets and purchase orders as required.
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
- Experience in project management, asset management or contract management.
Skills / abilities:
- Decision making, and proven ability to work independently and to provide advice on a broad range of issues.
- Strong communication with a variety of stakeholders across organisational levels -listening, emotional intelligence and providing answers.
- Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions.
- Demonstrated skills in analysis and reporting.
- A demonstrated ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and use sound judgement.
