Manage the Disability Resource Centre team and other associated services across the university to deliver the highest quality support to students and the university community.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Planning, delivering and evaluating Disability Resource Centre services to the university in line with the Commonwealth Disability Education Standards and relevant University plans
Promoting teamwork and providing tailored coaching to enable individuals to deliver high quality solutions and the achievement of goals
Analysing problems, weighing up a range of options to identify accessible and inclusive solutions and translating complex issues into clear and understandable goals and targets
Actively encouraging and coaching others to question traditional assumptions, promoting ideas and reviewing practices and policies and translating into workplace improvements
Establishing systems and procedures to guide work and tracking progress and striving for excellence and continually evaluating progress and effectively overcoming barriers to achieve outcomes
Using accepted theory and practices to develop and deploy continuous improvement actions to ensure implementation of continuous improvement strategies
Using understanding of the client context to anticipate needs, tailor services, improve service offering and ensure a high-quality outcome by addressing client feedback and setting service standards
Interpreting needs and offering pragmatic, inclusive and sustainable solutions based on research and in alignment with University context and contemporary practices

To be successful, you’ll have:
Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
An equivalent combination of experience in the disability and inclusion sector and/or education/training
Experience in leading successful and collaborative teams in the disability and inclusion sector
Experience in working collaboratively with clients, stakeholders, and partners to achieve appropriate outcomes
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
