The Opportunity
We are searching for our new Senior Customer Service Officer! This exciting opportunity will provide the right person with the opportunity to work with a customer focused team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Be a part of enhancing our customer experience by providing a high level of service with a focus on first-point resolution and play a role in providing leadership, direction and training to multi-disciplined customer service professionals in the delivery of services to the community.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver customer focused, accurate and timely information/resolutions in easy to understand terms via telephone, face to face and online.
Provide and support a first point resolution service model through varied contact methods on behalf of Council and various departments.
Identify and contribute to customer focused improvement initiatives, projects and services that address identified needs and improve the customer experience.
Assist the customer service team in the day-to-day customer service operations.
Provide direction and professional support to Customer Service Officers to achieve goals and customer focused outcomes
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have the following:
Experience in the provision of high-level customer service delivery, including operational requirements of high volume customer service centres.
Demonstrated skills and experience in supporting the development of staff to achieve goals in a customer focused environment.
Ability to provide direction and support for the day to day functions of a customer service team.
Demonstrated understanding of and sensitivity to the needs of a diverse community and the ability to ensure effective and quality customer service.
High level computer skills, including the administration of intricate customer request systems and databases.
