Job description

Our client, a Leader within the Manufacturing industry, is looking for an energetic and passionate Senior Customer Support Specialist to join their team based in Campbelltown.

You will be responsible for ensuring positive and successful interactions with customers and act as a Brand Ambassador for the business.

This role is permanent, full time and is a great opportunity to join a family values-based organisation with a friendly and supportive culture. The hours are a rotating roster between 7am and 6pm and there is onsite parking available.

They are willing to consider applicants with a retail management background. This an exciting and unique opportunity to step into an office based, Monday - Friday role.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage customer concerns with professionalism and provide customer specific solutions.
  • Provide timely and sustainable solutions to customers who have been referred by other team members.
  • Provide support to the Customer Support Team Leader to develop and execute plans to address team issues.
  • Effectively manage schedules to ensure that resources are available to meet expected demand of the team, e.g. the breaks roster is being utilised.
  • Undertaking training, coaching and development activities to help improve the quality of enquiry handling and customer service within the team.
  • Provide support to the Customer Support Team Leader to ensure the team has appropriate tools, processes, and systems to meet KPIs and expectations of customers.
  • Generate leads for the outbound sales team.
  • Actively encourage feedback from customers to further improve the customer service.
  • Build customer loyalty by having engaging conversations and providing logical lasting solutions to their problems.

To be considered for these roles you will need to possess the following:

  • Previous experience in a leadership role (in either a retail or call centre environment)
  • Proficiency with the use of computers
  • Strong communication skills
  • A strong customer and solutions focus
  • Ability to assess personal workload requirements, delivering on commitments in an environment with complexity, changing business needs and multiple conflicting priorities across several stakeholders.
