Tell me more...To participate in the continued development of quality oral health services to the communities of the Cape and Torres Strait.

To provide an advanced level of general practitioner service to all eligible and non-eligible (fee paying) clients in the Northern Cluster Oral Health Service, at the base clinic on Thursday Island and in the Outreach clinics on the Outer Islands and NPA of the Torres Strait.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Clinical experience of 5yrs is preferred demonstrating proficiency with removable prosthetics, endodontics and minor oral surgery.
• Staff management experience, demonstrated ability to manage staff and clinical conflict situations.
• Experience in providing clinical services in Indigenous communities and treatment planning of complex and special needs clients.

Requirements for the role:

• 5 years' experience is preferred for this position. Demonstrated proficiency with removable prosthetics and minor oral surgery.
• Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the Dental Board of Australia. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/ manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
• Possession of a Queensland radiography User licence for Intra-Oral Radiography.
