About the role
We are currently seeking a Senior Design Manager (Civil/Structures) to join us on a major infrastructure project in Melbourne, VIC. We have a strong pipeline with many opportunities for career progression right here in Victoria.

Key responsibilities
- Proactively support the project execution to ensure engineering excellence is achieved and risk is minimised.
- Responsible for accepting and further developing the ‘Safety in Design’ control.
- Provide support to the Engineering Leader to ensure projects are delivered within budget, time and quality objectives safely.
- Establishment, communication and management of technical aspects of the project
- Efficient planning and execution of works.
- Provide good quality, valuable, reliable, trustworthy and timely project technical support.
- Ability to describe digital integrated way of working to colleagues and clients.
- Promote the use of Digital engineering on the project
- Basic ability in 3D authoring systems such as Autodesk Revit, Tekla or PDMS.
- Liaise with research and development engineers regarding development work or construction and production engineers regarding manufacture of designed products or planned structures.
- Liaise with suppliers, clients, consultants or commissioning engineers concerning the design, installation, construction and commissioning of assigned work.
About you
You will be degree qualified in (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) Engineering combined with extensive experience in the construction/engineering industry (airport experience highly regarded not necessary). You will enjoy working together as a team and have strong communication skills.
