The Company;
This company is an ASX listed mining and industrials company who are about to embark on a major uplift of their core platform which is used by hundreds of thousands of customers across the globe. They promote a healthy work-life balance and offer fully remote arrangements within Australia. They care about their employees and invest in them accordingly with a generous L&D budget.
The Team;
You will work in a wider team of approx. 15 developers who are skilled both on front end and back end, this core product team will consist of 4 people. The team are a collaborative bunch who value each others opinion to get to the best possible outcome. The team are currently based across WA and QLD but they are open to this person working fully remote.
The Role;
You will be joining a team who are about to embark on a major uplift of their core IoT platform. You will work alongside a dedicated front end developer (React) on predominantly the Backend (.Net Core) and implementing Azure functions across the board including AKS and IAM. This is a pivotal project in the next generation of the product roadmap where as the Senior Developer you will have huge input into major architectural and technical decisions going forward.
What you will already need to know;
A strong background in Microsoft related technologies
Experience with React is a bonus but not mandatory
Microservices Architecture and Containerisation is a bonus
Hands on experience with Azure, but if you have AWS and keen to learn Azure that it okay
