Responsibilities & Duties:

• Carrying out a range of engine and mechanical tests, to diagnose, repair and service Toyota & Nissan vehicles.
• Preventative maintenance.
• Trouble shooting and fault finding.
• Completing basic paperwork/log books.
• Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles.
• Maintaining an up to date knowledge of all mechanical issues and changes to relating to dealer product range.
• Conferring with the Service Advisor to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements.
• Maintaining and enhancing the production control system.

The Successful Candidate:

• Trade Qualification (Motor Mechanic).
• Current repairers licence.
• Toyota or Nissan experience essential.
• Sound diagnostic skills.
• Developed knowledge of the automotive industry.
• Ability to work productively in an autonomous environment.
• Auto electrical competencies will be highly advantageous.
• Honest, hardworking & reliable.
• Current drivers license.
• An understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Must have own tools.
