- Carrying out a range of engine and mechanical tests, to diagnose, repair and service Toyota & Nissan vehicles.
- Preventative maintenance.
- Trouble shooting and fault finding.
- Completing basic paperwork/log books.
- Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles.
- Maintaining an up to date knowledge of all mechanical issues and changes to relating to dealer product range.
- Conferring with the Service Advisor to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, to discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements.
- Maintaining and enhancing the production control system.
- Trade Qualification (Motor Mechanic).
- Current repairers licence.
- Toyota or Nissan experience essential.
- Sound diagnostic skills.
- Developed knowledge of the automotive industry.
- Ability to work productively in an autonomous environment.
- Auto electrical competencies will be highly advantageous.
- Honest, hardworking & reliable.
- Current drivers license.
- An understanding of workplace health and safety.
- Must have own tools.
