Public Sector People (PSP) are currently looking to speak to a Senior Digital Communications Advisor who would be interested in a 3-month contract within Local Government.

Up to $55 an hour + super (may be flexible)
Social media focus! Must have hands on experience with corporate social media.
This role requires someone who has experience with social media, creating and planning content and managing the account.
Currently, the requirement is for 2-months with the likelihood to be extended to either 3 or 4-months due to internal movement.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage content across various Council digital platforms, with a key focus on social media.
Develop content, manage systems, and continuously improve the quality and engagement across digital channels.
Manage various EDM platforms and provide follow up reporting on activity and performance.
Collaborate with the wider communications team to manage content planning/ calendar management, posting and monitoring.
Provide advice, support, and training to stakeholders on their digital communication requirements, ensuring consistency of information across digital channels.
Requirements Include:
The following qualifications and/or experience are required for the position:
Tertiary qualification and significant industry experience in marketing, communications or related discipline is essential.
Strong working knowledge of different social media channels and how to put forward a more personal image of the organisation.
Experience in creating multimedia content, including graphics and videos.
Good working knowledge of WordPress and other CMS.
Understanding of UX principles.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, especially for online audiences.
