Senior Embedded Software Engineer

The Client and Role Our client is an Adelaide based company focused on revolutionising the IoT through low cost and long battery life global connectivity. While the specifics of the project contains sensitive information, our client is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with experience in RF and wireless communication. This developer will contribute to the development of satellite IoT products and solutions. The ideal candidate will perform testing in the lab, not just coding behind a desk - perfect for someone who loves to tinker. Someone adaptable to a start up culture and moving fast would be ideal as well as the company aims to have a POC up and running quickly created by this engineer and the team. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams including cloud network engineers, hardware engineers, system architects, and product managers. Skills Needed RF and wireless communication experience (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc) Strong development in C/C++ Embedded Linux and Linux shell scripting Understanding of IoT communication protocols and standards Experience with microcontroller-based embedded systems Hands on 3GPP experience is key Strong understanding of real-time operating systems What do you get?
