How will I help?
The Senior Service Engineer role within the Enterprise Collaboration and Productivity Services Team will report into the Lead Engineering.
This role will be a pivotable in helping define the service strategy and roadmap for Office 365 enterprise services across Australia and international jurisdictions, and other supporting enterprise Collaboration services.
The role will be a key Level 3/ Level 4 role part of the Collaboration Services Engineering Team, with key working relationships with the Chief Engineering Group, ISG Security, Risk, Compliance and Service Management practices.
This role will be part of a small group of 3-5 Collaboration Service Engineers.
The Senior Service Engineer is responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of service reference architecture, standards and for designing services or patterns leading to robust, flexible and quality Infrastructure services and solutions
Assists in developing and maintaining Service Strategy
Supports Service Owners in defining portfolio specific service strategy & roadmap
Assists in defining and qualifying demand for new Infrastructure services or patterns
Supports in ensuring new service or pattern design adherence to WBCs specified design blueprints, roadmaps and standards
Develops and maintains service specific reference architecture, standards and policies
Develops service or pattern design and blueprints for end-to-end operational Infrastructure services
Assists delivery portfolios with expert Infrastructure Service Engineering consulting when necessary
Represents Infrastructure Service Engineering on relevant Group Tech forums or on special Group Tech projects
Provides effective support in ensuring Operational Readiness and Design Assurance are adhered to at each agreed Solution Engineering Life Cycle stage gate
Assists Service Owner or Infrastructure Service Managers in effective governance of vendor/supplier provided service or pattern solution design or build
Supports Infrastructure service strategy translation from Enterprise Infrastructure strategy and assists in maintenance of service strategy for Infrastructure portfolios
Supports in development of portfolio strategy and roadmap
Develops Infrastructure Service Engineering reference architecture, policies and standards and ensures their alignment with WBC Group policy and standards

What do I need?
To be successful in this role, you will have strong PowerShell Scripting, Microsoft 365 such as Messaging, Windows Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint Online and Power Platform.
Technical and Industry Expertise:
Experience in service delivery operations and a broad range of IT platforms and disciplines
Experience in large-scale infrastructure deployment projects
Industry knowledge and experience in a specific technical domain of Microsoft 365, e.g. Messaging, Windows Active Directory etc.
Ability to develop and write a design for new and revised Collaboration solutions
