Our client is an international manufacturer of specialised machinery for the meat processing industry. The company leads the world in the innovation and development of meat processing solutions that raise the bar on the hygiene and table quality of retail meat products.
At this time, we are looking for an experienced Senior Maintenance Manager to oversee all Engineering, Maintenance and Technical Services operations for the business.

On a daily basis your duties will include but not be limited to:
Day to day management of a small team of highly skilled Electrical/Mechanical Technicians and Control Systems Engineers.
Ensuring your team is fully supported by providing professional guidance and training, to ensure all key objectives and KPIs for you team are met on a regular basis.
You will be the first point for all Technical and Controls System escalations and will take a hands on role in solving complex systems issues.
Identifying and acting on opportunities for process improvement, including design and implementation of initiatives.
Promoting and scheduling of Preventative Maintenance opportunities.
Prioritising and scheduling of all Technical resources.
This is a head office based position with significant strategic planning and management responsibilities. However some travel and site visitations will be required as and when is necessary.
It is envisaged that the successful candidate will be able to evidence most, or all of the following selection criteria:
You are an experienced Maintenance or Operations Manager with 5-10 years in Production Engineering and Project Management experience.
Ideally you are a tertiary qualified Engineer, or have an extensive background in machinery comprising Electrical, Mechanical and Control Systems elements.
You can write, modify and interpret PLC programs for most major platforms but predominately Allen Bradley.
Experience with systems incorporating compressed air, refrigeration plants, valves, sensors, and pumps would be highly regarded but not essential.
You are a strong people manager with obvious organisational skills, who can also see the bigger picture and implement the agreed strategies.
Meat industry experience would also be highly regarded.
