Be a 2IC to the Approvals Leader
Excellent benefits including performance bonuses
Real Flexibility
This is an exciting opportunity for you to move into a Senior Environmental Approvals Consultant position at an employee-owned environmental consultancy in Newcastle.
Joining a company of 13 consultants split between EIA / Approvals and Ecology, you will be helping to deliver a number of renewables and quarrying projects throughout NSW.
Even though the company may be only three years old, the founding directors and principals have decades worth of local experience under their belts with clients that continue to come back to them, time and time again.
This role has been created because the EIA & Approvals Leader is wanting to spend more time building business and mentoring the team, while planning for future growth.

Your role will include:
Lead and contribute to the preparation of a variety of Environmental Impact Assessments and Management Plans
Support the implementation and ongoing management and compliance of client’s sites
Project Management
Maintaining relationships with clients and regulatory agencies

You will need:
5 - 12 + years of experience as an environmental professional
A relevant science or engineering degree
Experience writing EIA's and approvals in NSW or elsewhere in Australia (if you've come from client side, that's okay too)
An understanding of NSW environmental legislation

You will receive:
A salary between $110-140k + super (more for those with additional experience)
End of year bonuses
Good training budgets and mentorship from principals and directors
Up to 4 days a week work-from-home (if that's what you prefer)
Genuine flexibility to work around your life - different start / finish times, post-graduate study, family etc
For people with experience outside of this range, we are able to create roles for you and negotiate the applicable salaries for your years of experience.
