Job Description
As a Senior Experience Designer, you will work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to create meaningful and impactful solutions that help shape the future of how our clients serve their customers.
You will work across every stage of the experience, from incubating new product ideas and features to prototyping and testing high-fidelity solutions with customers. Your Impact
- Champion the discovery, research, and data synthesis to identify critical user insights and develop hypotheses to design effective experiences.
- Communicate with excellent aesthetic and an influential voice to shape and position ideas for customer impact.
- Possess a thorough POV on craft, tools and process.
- Propose optimizations and creative approaches to systems that can cultivate impact for users’ needs.
- Develop specification documentation that allows for implementation in software development.
- Facilitate design workshops with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues on the development of motion, content strategy, visual/UI design, content, user stories and requirements through to production-ready code.
- Clarify and define success metrics for client and business impact.
- Develop relationships across a project team, specifically with technical team members and software developers.
- Lead and manage small project tracks autonomously.
Your skills & experience
- Experience audits and competitive benchmarking.
- Complex system and process mapping.
- Qualitative/quantitative user research and analytics.
- Customer journey mapping and user flows.
- Participating in and facilitating co-design and ideation.
- Wireframing functionality for features and content.
- Prototyping skills with a familiarity of 2-3 tools, having advanced experience with at least 1 (eg. Figma, XD, InVision).
- Low-fidelity prototyping skills.
- Component-based design development and experience working with design systems.
- Navigation systems design, information architecture.
- Creating sitemaps.
- Interaction design.
- Process and specification documentation.
- Preparing and conducting user testing of digital product/service concepts and prototypes.
- Collaboration in cross-functional teams.
- Working with designers and engineers to see your wireframes through to production-ready code.
- Strong written and verbal communication, storytelling and stakeholder management skills.
- Design planning, estimation and workflow management.
- Experience supporting enterprise software delivery (B2B, B2C, Apps, Web, SAS), ideally within retail, financial services, public sector or energy & commodities.
- Experience working as a consultant or within major design agencies.
- Experience working in an Agile environment with cross-functional product teams (Engineering, Product, Strategy and business SMEs).
- Experience working in innovation incubation or cross-departmental teams.
- You are excited by the potential to combine practices of behavioural science with design or have prior experience designing for emerging technologies AI e.g. Anticipatory or cognitive experiences.
- Prototyping with code— HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, React Native, etc.
