Senior Fabricator

Position Overview: Crafted by tib are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fabricator to join our team. 

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fabricating and installing a wide range of architectural metalwork, including steel staircases, balustrading, doors, windows, brass works, and wrought iron designs.

The Senior Fabricator will play a crucial role in leading fabrication projects from start to finish, ensuring the highest quality craftsmanship and adherence to project timelines.

Responsibilities:

1. Fabricate custom steel staircases, balustrading, steel doors and windows, brass works, and wrought iron designs according to design specifications.
2. Lead installation teams in the on-site assembly and installation of fabricated metalwork.
3. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of fabrication plans.
4. Oversee quality control processes to ensure finished products meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and durability.
5. Train and mentor junior fabricators, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team skills and capabilities.
6. Manage project timelines and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery of fabricated metalwork.
7. Conduct on-site measurements and assessments to inform fabrication and installation processes.
8. Maintain a safe and organized workshop environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Senior Fabricator in architectural metalwork, with a minimum of [5 years] of relevant experience.
2. Expertise in fabricating and installing steel staircases, balustrading, steel doors and windows, brass works, and wrought iron designs.
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and fabrication plans.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead installation teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and quality.
6. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
7. Welding and metal fabrication certifications preferred.
8. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
