Senior Security Technician

Darwin

We are currently seeking a Senior Security Technician to join our Honeywell Building Solutions team in our Darwin office. Working with the Field Service Supervisor in the Norther Territory, your focus will be ensuring high level customer happiness and retention, through innovative and solution focused problem solving, involving third party and Honeywell equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating and building relationships with Facility Managers, engineering teams, and technicians to service customer equipment to the highest standards
  • Developing, maintaining and improving relationships with the customer by providing expert advice and acting as a maintenance specialist resource
  • Knowledge of Navigating and interrogating Building Management interfaces advantageous
  • Utilize the output of relevant technology to proactively identify and estimate materials costs and quantities for reactive works and pass on information required to price jobs to Project Managers
  • Ensuring customer happiness through direct liaison with client representatives, customers and service recipients
  • Reporting of performance indicators and site service objectives and use the technology such as the Customer Portal to drive this delivery.
  • Carrying out hazard and risk assessments for all tasks as per company policy and procedures
  • Ensuring delivery of value to Honeywell clients and customers
  • Reporting near misses, incidents and other opportunities for improvement
Key Experience & Capabilities:
  • Security Systems Workers License (Essential)
  • Restricted Electrical Trade Certificate (Advantageous)
  • Strong background security systems industry
  • Intermediate to advance Microsoft and computer skills
  • Instrumentation certification
  • Creative, highly motivated individual, who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • We desire a dedicated person who is passionate about customer happiness and possesses proven capability to establish and maintain strong business relationships with suppliers, customers and co-workers
  • Open Cable License
  • Drivers License
  • Eligibility to obtain NV1 Defence Base clearances.
