Your new role
The Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in month-board reporting, business partnering, half-year & year-end reporting, typical responsibilities include:
- Aggregation, consolidation and presentation of the monthly board reporting and group executive reporting packs to leadership
- Segment Reporting and in-depth analysis to explain all P&L movements to leadership and the board in the right-hand notes
- Analysis - Revenue, Margin, business mix, DSO, sustainability, backlog for the investor presentation
- Business Partnering - analysis for other group functions to support decision making
- Ability to work autonomously, and provide quality deliverables from ad-hoc requests that arrive from the Performance Team's key stakeholders, including Investor Relations and Strategy, with analysis and actuals information
- Strong systems knowledge of Hyperion Planning and HFM
- Liaising with key stakeholders across multiple time zones (key locations outside Australia: Houston, London, India, KL, Singapore)
To be successful in this role you will need to be CA/CPA/CMA qualified and come from a Big 4 background, if you are looking to make your first move to industry then you will be at the Assistant Manager/Manager level or have industry experience in large-scale project and financial delivery experience. Experience with Hyperion Planning or HFM will be highly regarded.
