About the role
We are looking for a Senior Finance Officer to join our Community Recovery Programs Team at the NSW Reconstruction Authority. This is an opportunity to for someone with financial acumen to make a real difference to disaster impacted communities.
As a Senior Finance Officer, you will effectively deliver financial management in relation to the Disaster Relief Grant (DRG) Community Recovery Officer program (CRO), Recovery Support Services (RSS) Program. This role is focused on business partnering, as you will engage with our providers, conduct assessment for eligible reimbursement, and collate a diverse range of financial information, reports, and data in alignment with standards, policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.
What we're looking for
- Someone who can effectively coordinate, and project manage day to day financial administrations to support the allocation and fundings in line with policies and procedures.
- Able to build and maintain stakeholder relationships internally and externally.
- Develop and monitor accruals and budget forecasting process and track the status of reimbursements across all CRO and RSS programs, and payments across the DRG program.
- Work collaboratively and manage conflicting priorities.
- Have accurate knowledge of the dynamic and complex strategic framework of the agency would be highly desirable.
