About the opportunity:
We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Finance Officer to ensure the efficient and effective management of the school operations (other than learning) to achieve the school's objectives. The working environment is flexible and we are open to the possibility of the successful applicant working a combination of days from home and onsite.
The Senior Finance Officer will collaborate with the Principal, Business Manager and central office Finance teams to:
Process financial transactions, including purchasing and receipting and reconciliation processes, assist in budgeting, forecasting and reviewing financial reports
Facilitate the raising and collection of school fees
As required, assistance with a diverse set of other school administrative processes including, enrolments, student services, health & safety, staffing
Front of house and student facing duties, collaborating with other team members to build a welcoming and safe environment for the school community
Ideal Candidate
TechnologyOne experience would be highly advantageous, but experience using any enterprise level financial software is desirable
Bookkeeping or accounting qualifications or equivalent experience
Great people skills, interpersonal and written communication
Solid administrative experience, either with the Microsoft Office suite or related Google Suite applications

The Organisation
Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 83 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.
This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check, retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CSPD’s Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.
