What’s the gist?

We're looking for a detail oriented, creative, and passionate person to join our team as our go-to Front-End Developer!

The main functions of your role would be:

  • Converting wireframes/mockups to responsive user-friendly web pages for optimised customer experiences
  • Ensuring our Shopify website stack is up to date, including plugins and staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
    • Essential languages include PHP, Javascript (e.g., node.js / react.js / vue.js), Ruby (Shopify Liquid)
  • Supporting the production of SEO driven content with a focus on: landing pages, category pages, branded pages, website content, and personalised customer journeys
  • Working closely with back-end developers, designers, SEO and other stakeholders
  • Contributing to documentation (instructional, pitch and technical specification)

The wider scope of your role would include:

  • Leading the production of digital website projects ensuring proper implementation, consistency and integrity of the brand and marketing vision
  • Supporting the improvement of the customer journey on our website to address customer pain points with UX/UI strategy and execution
  • Managing the ongoing optimisation of the website including CRO, SEO, Checkout, A/B testing to ensure our website is operating at its maximum potential
  • Conducting routine reporting to provide a thorough analysis of performance of products, categories, site traffic and conversion rates to determine strategic insights and outcomes
  • Working closely with Marketing and Product teams to ensure all projects are delivered on time, to expectation and on budget

Underpinning these key functions would necessitate:

  • Representing Eva’s brand pillars and values across all customer touch points
  • Proactively engage in learning to the mutual benefit of yourself & Eva
  • Contributing to the growth & development of the Eva team by honouring our company values and delivering constructive feedback in an open and honest manner

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years ecommerce experience on front-end development with a strong portfolio of existing projects
  • Experience in building sites from scratch, without the use of a base theme, style libraries or frameworks
  • Experience in improving existing systems and improving internal processes
  • The ability to scope out projects and translate problems into online solutions in the most efficient manner
  • High attention to detail
  • Have an eye for design and maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the UI
  • Have a good understanding of web accessibility
