Job Description:
Seeking experienced PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Functional Consultants to join our Oracle practice.
A wholly owned DXC company, DXC Practice for Oracle is the largest independent provider of Oracle consulting and managed services in Australia and New Zealand. The Role
Due to our ongoing growth, we have openings for experienced PeopleSoft Functional Consultants in Campus Solutions to join our practice to strengthen our capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with customers and colleagues for the consultation, requirements gathering, design, implementation and ongoing support of PeopleSoft solutions.
- Assist customers with analysing, designing, testing and deploying PeopleSoft enhancements, reports and regular application updates and patches.
- Definition and preparation of any required approach and/or standards documentation;
- Requirements Elicitation, Specification & Fit-Gap;
- Business Process Modelling and Specification;
- Functional Design Specification for customisations and enhancements (including interfaces and reports);
- Configuration Design and Build;
- Data Conversion Design;
- Security Design;
- Test Planning, Preparation, Execution and Defect Management;
- Upgrades and Patching related Projects
- Quality management: review of key deliverables; promote consistency in solution; ensure adherence to scope; and ensure adherence to Program standards and procedures;
- Provide Functional inputs to other streams such as Technical Upgrade, Development, Test and Deployment;
- Train and mentor other team members;
- Transition and knowledge transfer.
Key Skills Required
To be successful in this position you will possess many of the following attributes:
- Advanced understanding of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during both implementation projects and BAU support services.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing or supporting PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
- Excellent requirements gathering skills and ability to translate business requirements into functional design specifications.
- Prior experience working in a formal project environment.
- Proven ability to perform Analysis, Design, Configuration and Test activities for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
- Good interpersonal skills, establishing good working relationships with Project Team members, the business and other stakeholders.
- Possess a good command of the English language, written and verbal.
- Ability to work as a part of a project team.
