Reporting in to Finance Director

THE ROLE
Working alongside a team of skilled finance professionals you will be a key part of the Group Financial Control team supporting the Group’s divisions. In this diverse role your responsibilities will be to:
Support the broader business with acquisition accounting
Technical accounting papers
Oversee preparation of year end reporting tasks including audit deliverables, accounting technical papers and financial reporting notes.
Review financial statements produced by divisional teams
Year end & half year end reporting
Provide accounting advice to the business
Oversee automation of reconciliations
Maintain best in practice financial controls
Partner with the business and corporate teams to drive operational efficiency initiatives and finance system enhancements.
Contribute to other Group financial control and management reporting processes, deliverables and responsibilities.
Some oversight of consolidations
Process improvement & automation
Management and development of 1 junior finance team member.

A BIT ABOUT YOU
We are seeking a CA/CPA qualified Senior Finance Manager with:
Excellent technical accounting skills including technical accounting papers
Experience with acquisition accounting
Consolidations experience
ASX reporting expertise
Statutory accounts & year end experience
Strong communication skills
