They are continuously seeking ways to enhance their service delivery and seeking a Senior Human Resources Advisor to support their high performing workforce.
So, what's involved?
As Senior Human Resources Adviser, you will report to the Manager, Industrial Relations and Systems. You will have responsibility for contributing to the overall success of the organisation, by providing high level Employee Relations and Human Resources advice and guidance.
Working in partnership with the organisations' people leaders and broader People & Culture team, you will steer the Human Resources strategy and enable the team to deliver operationally excellent outcomes. Your role will balance strategy and operational support to your team.
This role will be ever-evolving, proactively managing the expectations of the wider business whilst delivering on caseload management. Your expertise will be called upon at all levels, with the strategic insights of how best to implement, whilst also being called upon to be hands-on. This is a role for passionate professionals who champion continuous equity and operational success.
The big-ticket items:
Support a portfolio of staff managing complex cases across workplace relations including ER and IR;
Link the businesses' HR initiatives into the broader people strategy through leadership collaboration;
Take ownership of and drive the consistent development and delivery of wider HR strategies and policies; and
Coach, mentor and nurture your team in their people management skills and professional development.
Your background
You will have experience supporting a portfolio of staff and guiding them through complex people-management issues, including investigations into potential misconduct or grievances. You will be well-versed in Enterprise Agreement negotiations and interpretation. And have gained exposure to a highly regulated and compliance driven industry.
The role will require occasional travel across the region; you must have a full driver's licence.
You will ideally hold a related bachelor's degree in human resources or management.
It will be essential that you demonstrate the values of the organisation and are passionate about the service offering of the organisation.
