Salary- This role reports to the Senior Winemaker
- Collecting samples for analysis & tasting
- Co-ordinate day to day activities of the lab to ensure all work is completed and recorded.
- Carrying out daily, weekly, and routine calibration on laboratory equipment
- Conducting analysis & timely recording of data
- Trade Sample preparation
- Work in close communication with winemaking team.
- Preferable academic qualification in Lab Technician/Science degree
- Ability to meet timelines and prioritise
- Knowledge of all laboratory analytical methods
- Preferred knowledge of Vintrace software
- Familiarity with winemaking practices
- Confident and open verbal communicator
- Accurate reagent preparation, and ability to apply rigorous calibration techniques as required
- Knowledge of WHS rules specifically in relation to HACCP, PPE as well as quality systems
- Ability to lead and supervise people
- Ability to demonstrate a systematic approach to stock records
