Senior / Lead Commissioning Engineer Wind

Exciting Opportunity for Senior/Lead Commissioning Engineer in the field of substation projects! Our client, a aiming to be a key player in Australia's transition to net zero emissions, and are seeking Commissioning Engineers to join their team. You will lead testing and commissioning activities for Substation wind farm & BESS projects, manage outage activities, track progress, conduct various tests, handle documentation, and provide mentorship to junior team members. Additionally, you will be responsible for diagnostic testing and maintenance services on electrical protection and control relays & equipment.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in similar projects, hold qualifications in Advanced Diploma of ESI Power Systems or Electrical Engineering Degree, possess Australian transmission/distribution network experience, and demonstrate significant VESI/Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) commissioning expertise. Proficiency in operating test equipment and familiarity with IEC61850 projects would be considered advantageous.
