The Learning Chapter Area is responsible for providing learning and development expertise across the full ‘end to end’ learning process/cycle. This includes partnering, consulting, designing, developing, implementing, and managing learning initiatives/products that enable our people to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles and ultimately achieving CBA's goal of +30 NPS.
By fostering a culture of learning, the Learning chapter contributes to employee engagement, talent retention, and overall business success, ultimately ensuring that CBA remains competitive and agile in a rapidly changing world.

The learning chapters have been split by 2 main skill groups:
Learning Partnering
The purpose of the work performed by Learning Partner/Consultants is to strategically align learning and development initiatives with the organisation’s goals, identify and address needs, and provide expertise to ensure effective learning solutions to achieve business and customer impacts.
Learning Experience and Design
The purpose of the work performed by Learning Experience/Design professionals is to curate, develop/create engaging and effective learning materials and environments, ensuring a positive and impactful learning experience for participants.
This role aligns to the Learning Partnering skill group, reporting to the Chapter (team) Lead.
You will add value through strong learning partnerships by:
Participating in a high-performing and engaged chapter (team)
Providing expert learning consulting, ensuring the most effective solutions are developed (curate, create, buy) for maximum impact and desired outcomes.
Contributing to the achievement of customer outcomes through effective delivery of learning solutions
Deep connection with the strategy, goals, objectives of their stakeholders, CBA and the HR function, effectively consulting and co-creating learning and capability roadmaps to maximise people development and impact.
Consulting with the business to drive a mature learning culture aligned to sustainable performance in a scalable way.
Delivering on our customer aspiration by: Encouraging continuous improvement, innovation and a customer obsessed mind-set
Participating in a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing
Do work that matters
Provide learning strategy development effectively consulting through application of adult learning theories and practice, leveraging a human centered design approach, in line with guidance from the Learning Chapter Lead and Product Owner
Conduct effective Needs Analysis/Gap Analysis
Develop Learning Solution Architecture to achieve outcomes, maximise impact.
Develop clear Learning Assessment Strategies with clear evaluation and impact measures, seeking data and feedback to inform metrics and leveraging these to support continuous improvement.
Apply guardrails and principles for Learning delivery including developing, implementing and assessing aligned to agreed standards and frameworks.
Curate engaging, relevant, current content, delivered in a simplified way, aligned to skills-led career aspirations.
Builds cross-function and business relationships to facilitate and influence decision making, manage risks and create advocacy for learning.
Contributes to a culture of sharing, learning and problem solving.
We’re interested in hearing from people who possess
Passionate about the execution of learning delivery work with a desire to contribute to shared outcomes.
Demonstrated experience in delivering large learning projects, involving multiple, complex stakeholder needs.
Demonstrated examples working in agile for learning delivery will be advantageous.
Passion and drive to support transformation of learning with experience in innovative solutions being delivered with demonstrated impact.
Experience in digital learning delivery highly regarded.
Strong proven experience in supporting, consulting and delivering value to stakeholders in implementing strategic goals.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of risk management and/or risk related learning will be advantageous.
Knowledge of banking and finance regulatory environment also advantageous
